CATHEDRAL TOUR HITS THE RIGHT NOTE

Audiences attending the recent series of Cathedral Concerts by the Band of the Royal Air Force College have given a thumbs-up to the event.

The tour, called A Time to Reflect, was organised by the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises to complement the already hugely successful annual autumn UK concert tour by the Bands of the Royal Air Force.

Staged in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, the Cathedral Tour visited Gloucester, Lincoln and Ely, and was attended by around 2,000 people.

Concert organiser Philippa Hayday-Brown said the cathedral tour was a resounding success.

We always felt that performing the Band's stirring music in a cathedral setting would create a special atmosphere and the response from our audiences at each of the venues would appear to confirm this. On behalf of the Band and the Charitable Trust, I'd like to thank the audiences for their support.
