Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Testimonials

Throughout the year we receive some wonderful thank you letters from groups who have received grants, here are just a few…..

On behalf of my fellow Trustees, I am writing to formally acknowledge receipt of a cheque in the sum of £10,000 which relates to the sponsorship of a flying scholarship for Alex Krol in 2008.

You might be interested to know that Alex did achieve solo flight during his first time in South Africa, and received a glowing report from his instructors at 43 Air School. He is determined to continue his flying when he returns to the UK in November with the aim of achieving his PPL. Sue Whitby will be advise the Trust of his progress.

Thank you again for your continuing support of Flying Scholarships for the Disabled.

One behalf of the cadets and staff of 1921 (Lewisham) Squadron, I would like to thank the Trustees for their very kind grant in support of Exercise Rising Phoenix – our trip to Atlanta Georgia this Autumn.

Such a generous contribution has made a massive difference to the trip and given the current economic climate, has ensured that our transport costs are completely covered, which is of great relief.

Thank you again for the grant, as the trip is nearly upon us, the cadets, staff and I are truly honoured by your support.

I am writing on behalf of Group Captain Lyall to acknowledge receipt of the Trust's cheque for £3000 sent under cover of your letter.

I would also like to offer our sincere thanks to the Trust for their very generous grant that will make such a difference to the welfare support we are able to offer from the HIVE facility at Benson.
