How the money is spent
Since the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust was first established in 2005, it has been gifted £2,000,000 by its trading company, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises. Trustees have approved grants totalling around £1.7 million to a wide range of initiatives and projects.

Not all of the money raised through the activities of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (RAFCTE) is gifted to the Trust. The RAFCTE's Board of Directors wish to create a firm financial footing to assure the company's long term future. For this reason, and with the support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, a modest amount is retained each year to protect against unforseen contingencies.
