TRUST BENEFITS FROM TOP 3

The draw down of the base at RAF Fairford has resulted in the closure of the Senior Non Commissioned Ranks Club, the "Top 3 Organisation".

The organisation's primary focus has been to help mentor, coach and provide Quality of Life venues for the RAF Fairford American military personnel while they have been stationed here.  The committee headed by their President Master Sergeant Denny, recognising the close relationship between the United States Air Force and the Royal International Air Tattoo decided to donate the balance of their funds following the closure to the Air Tattoo's parent charity, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.  Pictured is Master Sergeant Casselli from the Top 3 Club handing over the cheque to Chris Murray, the Secretary of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.

The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust is the parent charity of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises who organise the Royal International Air Tattoo each year at RAF Fairford.  On taking receipt of the cheque Chris Murray said "The Trustees are delighted to thank the President and members of the Top 3 for their kind generosity.  The fact that they felt it appropriate to donate the balance of their funds to the Trust on the closure of their organisation speaks volumes for the relationship that has developed over the years."
