RAFCT JOINS EASYFUNDRAISING
Now it's easy for our supporters to raise money for the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust while shopping online.
We have teamed up with easyfundraising.org.uk, the UK's largest fundraising shopping site, turning everyday shopping into donations for good causes when consumers shop with one of over 2,000 partner retailers featured on its site.
The site allows users to shop at their favourite online store at no extra cost while raising funds for the RAFCT at the same time. An average 5% of each sale will be donated to the Charitable Trust at no extra charge to the shopper.
Ailsa Fleming, the RAFCT Grants and Revenue Manager, commented: "Finding extra funds in this economic climate can be difficult. Joining easyfundraising.org.uk is an excellent solution and yet another way for us to gain valuable income. The concept is simple and it's so easy for our supporters to help us raise money while shopping online – something that they would do normally."
Shoppers simply log on to easyfundraising.org.uk and click on the "support a cause" button, where supporters can select "Royal Air Force Charitable Trust". Once a registration form has been completed, shoppers can choose their retailer and start shopping.
In addition to donations from shopping, we are also able to up our funds by encouraging supporters to use the easysearch.org.uk search engine. By making just 10 searches a day with easysearch.org.uk instead of other search engines, supporters can raise up to £20 per year for us.
