Testimonials

Throughout the year we receive some wonderful thank you letters from groups who have received grants, here are just a few……

I write to thank you and your fellow Trustees for the very generous grant of £30,000 that you have given towards the refurbishment of Shenstone House. This is an excellent example of RAF charities working together for the benefit of the RAF family and, in this case, the serving community in particular. I can assure you that your donation is important to help us establish the second vital welfare break facility for the serving family.

On behalf of the staff and Cadets from the Northern Ireland Wing ATC, I wish to express our most sincerest gratitude for the grant we have received from The Trustees which enabled us to attend RIAT 2011.

Both Cadets and Staff who attended RIAT 2011 had a fantastic time and benefited greatly from the experience. We were able to meet and interact with not only the Cadets and Staff from across the UK but also Cadets who had attended from across the world. RIAT also provided the opportunity for the Northern Ireland Cadets to experience the world's largest military air show first hand. A number of cadets met members of the Royal Family and a number were also interviewed for the official RIAT DVD.

Without the kindness and assistance of the Trustees, attendance at RIAT would have proved very difficult if not impossible.

On behalf of the Staff, Cadets and Civilian Committee of 1182 (Shepton Mallet) Squadron, I would like to thank you, and all at the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, for the very kind donation of £9,000 towards a new minibus. We gratefully received your cheque yesterday.

When I informed the Squadron during our parade last night, the cadets' faces were pictures of utmost joy and excitement!
