FABBAGIRLS GEAR UP FOR AIR TATTOO
MAMMA MIA! Top singers Susie Webb and Zoe Nicholas from ABBA tribute band THE FABBAGIRLS are getting set to wow the crowds at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford on July 18 and 19.
The duo will be performing on Saturday and Sunday lunchtime on the main Concert Stage, putting on a show with glitz, glamour and '70s sparkle, and featuring as many of ABBA's greatest hits as they can fit into one hour.
Susie, the dark-haired one, says: "We've been performing together for a few years now and the huge success of Mamma Mia, the film and the stage show, means that ABBA's music is as popular as ever. We've worked all over the world with stars including Pavarotti, The Who, Sting, Lionel Richie and Queen, we've just got back from working in Bangkok and St Tropez . . . and we're delighted to be performing at the Air Tattoo.
"The atmosphere at the event here is unique and we're really looking forward to our public performances, and also to appearing at the post-show Hangar Party, where we'll be entertaining the volunteers, aircrew and pilots."
