A Boeing KC-767 TT from the Italian Air Force will present an imposing sight when it lands at RAF Fairford for its UK airshow debut in July.
Four of the advanced aerial refuelling tankers entered service with the Italian Air Force during the past year and have since supported NATO operations in Afghanistan and Libya.
The aircraft, which will be on static display at the Air Tattoo, will arrive from Pratica di Mare Air Force Base, Rome.
The KC-767 TT is first built as a 767-200ER commercial aeroplane before being modified into a tanker. The 'TT' stands for 'Tanker Transport'.
