French TBM-700

The Royal International Air Tattoo wouldn't be the Royal International Air Tattoo without the participation of the French Army Aviation's TBM-700. Two of the single-engined turbo-prop aircraft have been confirmed, one for the static park and another to take part in the flying display.

The aircraft, which is used to transport VIPs, will come from the Escadrille Avions de L'Armee de Terre, the fixed wing unit of France's Army Light Aviation. In May, 2011, the French armed forces took possession of the first of 27 modernised TBM-700s, eight of which are destined for the French army.
