Pimm's Flight Deck
Situated on the crowdline at the far eastern end of the runway, traditionally an ideal location to watch the aircraft land and take off, given Fairford's prevailing wind direction. Visitors can relax outside in comfortable director chair seating and a large tented area will serve an inclusive savoury picnic style lunch.
This really is an excellent way to enjoy the show in true British style! In the event that the wind direction changes, aircraft may however, have to take off and land from the western end of the runway.
The Pimm's Flight Deck includes:
- Savoury picnic style lunch served from 11am until 2.30pm (2012 menu)
- Individual director's chairs
- A number of garden tables & umbrellas
- Private garden
- Sheltered area
- Pay bar
- Private toilets
- Your ticket will allow you to come and go as you please throughout the day
Please note: Children aged 5 and over require a ticket for the Pimm's Flight Deck Enclosure, children under 5 are free as long as they do not occupy a seat or require an inclusive lunch.
