Schools Build-a-Plane Challenge Located near to Fairford in Stroud, Marling School will once again take part in the Royal Aeronautical Society's 'Schools Build-a-Plane challenge' and unveil their aircraft in the TRI@RIAT area at this year's show. The Build-a-Plane challenge aims to create a greater understanding of aviation and engineering in young people promoting a greater take-up of science and other technical subjects. |

Lockheed Martin Human Immersive Lab Visitors will have a chance to explore a virtual reality environment inside the belly of the F-35 jet fighter. Visitors will find themselves interacting with the Weapons Bay of an F-35 Carrier Variant and explore how this plane is considered the next generation air superiority fighter. |

Introducing young people to science, engineering, and technology through fun hands-on activities. Visitors can build a rocket or plane, learn about hydraulics, design bridges and towers and tackle mechanical challenges. Imagineering hosts the Bloodhound Supersonic Car Model set to break the World Land Speed Record. |

AMRC MANTRA manufacturing transporter is a custom 14m HGV trailer giving visitors a hands-on experience with technology. Facilities include a fully operational mill-turn machine that can cut a range of metals; video screens showcasing products of partners such as Rolls-Royce and Boeing; and a 3-D virtual reality centre. |
