AIR TATTOO OFFERS SPICE OF 'LIFE'
The Royal International Air Tattoo has teamed up with the region's most popular lifestyle magazine to offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the world's greatest airshow next summer from the comfort of a new enclosure.
Cotswold Life has been named as the airshow's official media partner for 2013, paving the way for the development of a number of new and exciting commercial opportunities.
Air Tattoo Commercial Director Caroline Rogers said: "We have been looking to develop a new viewing enclosure for 2013 that was both stylish and comfortable but with a traditional, retro atmosphere, so we are now launching the 'Spitfire Lawn'. We felt the Cotswold Life brand sits very comfortably with what we are trying to achieve and we'll be looking to reflect this for our guests next summer.
"You don't have to be a Cotswold Life reader to enjoy afternoon tea and a perfect view of the flying display from the Spitfire Lawn but we hope the association gives people a flavour of what to expect."
The airshow offers visitors a number of different enclosure options each featuring a package of benefits designed to enhance their Air Tattoo visit. Choices range from a simple grandstand seat or garden chair on the crowdline in the Viewing Village, to the VIP experience provided in the Lightning Pavilion (formerly the Trenchard Chalet).
Other enclosure options include the informal Pimm's Flight Deck, serving a picnic-style lunch with director-style seating; and the more formal Aviation Club, which offers VIP car parking, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. Enclosure prices range from £25 to £468.
The Royal International Air Tattoo, which is staged in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, takes place on July 20-21, 2013. It features demonstrations by many of the world's most exciting military aircraft and aerobatic display teams in a spectacular seven-hour flying display.
