MAGNIFICENT SEVEN - DAY SEVEN
Happy Easter! It's the final day of the Air Tattoo's 'Magnificent Seven' Easter Egg-stravaganza and that means there's another exciting participant to reveal for this summer's airshow.
Yesterday, we added the RAF Chinook Display Team to the list of acts appearing in the Air Tattoo's seven-hour flying display on July 20/21, joining the Typhoon, Tucano, Tutor, Apache Lynx and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight we announced earlier this week.
To view our Chief Executive, Tim Prince, revealing the last of the Magnificent Seven, please see the video below.
We hope you've all enjoyed finding out about the aircraft taking part in our daily competitions in which we've given away prizes including a half-day Caterham Driving Experience, framed original artwork, model aircraft, books and airshow tickets.
Today's competition prize is a little special – it's a Citizen Eco-Drive RAF Red Arrows watch worth £199. What's more, the winner will receive two tickets to the Air Tattoo so that they can be presented with their watch!
The RAF Red Arrows timepiece uses award winning technology pioneered by Citizen: Eco-Drive Technology. It starts with a simple, yet revolutionary concept: a watch that never needs a battery. Citizen Eco-Drive harnesses the power of light – from any natural or artificial light source – and converts it into energy which is stored in a permanently rechargeable lithium-ion cell. It will recharge continuously in any kind of light to run forever – even in the dark.
This good looking watch features the RAF Red Arrows logo on the dial and their official insignia appears on the case back. The watch features a 1/5 Second Chronograph, World Time in 24 Cities, 12/24 Hour Time, a Screw-Back case and is Water Resistant to 100 metres. Enhanced with a luxurious black leather strap complete with red trim, it comes presented in distinctive Red Arrows packaging.
Mark Robinson, Managing Director for Citizen Watch UK, said "We are delighted with our association with the RAF Red Arrows and we are thrilled with the success of this collection so far. Furthermore, we are really pleased to be able to work with the Air Tattoo to offer fans the chance to win this striking timepiece. The Red Arrows collection is our bestselling collection to date with this flight chronograph proving incredibly popular." To enter today's competition, click here
