REDS SIGN UP FOR ARTWORK AUCTION
AEROBATIC superstars The Red Arrows took a break from display work at the Royal International Air Tattoo to sign up for a charity auction.
The entire Red Arrows team called in at Patrons' Pavilion to sign the original artwork by leading modern aviation artist David Bent, which has been used to advertise the Air Tattoo this year.
Last year David's Air Tattoo artwork was signed by pilots, aircrew and volunteers at the airshow, and the finished product is being offered at auction to the members of the Friends of the Royal International Air Tattoo, with the funds going to the Air Tattoo's parent charity, the RAF Charitable Trust.
Over 270 signatures have already been added to this year's artwork, and the result will also be donated to the Air Tattoo to help raise more money for charity.
