We use a variety of accommodation to lodge our volunteers. Read below to find out more about each type.
Accommodation Blocks (Buildings 551,552 & 592)
We have three accommodation blocks within the Volunteer Village; rooms are shared with up to 3 people per room. Some of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and others have shared bathroom facilities.
All volunteers staying in 551,552 and 592 will
need to bring a Sleeping bag/duvet/pillows. A single flat sheet is
highly recommended for the mattress.
Please note Building 551 and 552 will have a small fridge
installed in each bedroom.
These temporary wooden structures sleep two and have a security coded entry system. There is a requirement to bring bedding and towels (single sheet, duvet/sleeping bag and pillows). Please note there are no en-suite facilities with the Sleephuts.
They are located on the edge of the Staff Campsite and share the toilets and shower facilities.

These are located opposite the Belden Diner alongside building 592.
These lockable temporary rooms sleep two and have bedding and towels so there is no requirement to bring any. Please note there are no en-suite facilities with the Flexotels.
The Flexotels are located near the campsite and share the toilet and shower facilities.
Pitches on the staff campsite must be booked in advance during the online registration process. Electric hook-up can be requested for caravans and motorhomes only but is not always guaranteed. There are plenty of toilet and shower facilities on the Staff Campsite.
NOTE: Owing to health and safety requirements and electrical supply issues, staff campsite pitches are unfortunately not available to personnel requiring the supply for personal medical equipment.
We have a number of external accommodation in the local area including B&B's and a local activity centre. With these options all volunteer meals are provided within the Belden Diner in the Volunteer Village. Transport is arranged to and from your accommodation via your teams.
