Royal Visitors Tour Air Tattoo

HRH Prince Michael of Kent enjoyed a visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo today (Sunday), watching the flying displays before visiting a number of the exhibits displayed by aerospace and defence companies in the show's Techno Zone. 

The royal guest visited the stands of National Air Traffic Services, Qinetiq, Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ). He also met biplane pilot Tracy Curtis who is planning to re-create Amy Johnson's flight from Britain to Australia this October, and then went on to chat with members of the Bloodhound supersonic car team.

Another royal visitor, HRH the Duke of Kent, also attended the Air Tattoo and spent time speaking to representatives from aerospace and defence companies including Airbus and Qinetiq as well as RAF personnel.
