Belgian C-130H Hercules

The venerable Lockheed C-130H Hercules, which has been performing a heavy transport role with the Belgian Air Component since the 1970s, will arrive from 20 Sqn, 15 Air Transport Wing, based at Brussels/Steenokkerzeel-Melsbroek, for static display.

The Belgian C-130Hs have proved their value over the years performing a variety of roles including humanitarian, medical evacuations, passenger and air cargo transportation and tactical airlift.

Looking to the future, it is understood that the Belgian C-130Hs are expected to be replaced by the Airbus A-400M transport aircraft.
