German Transall C-160D

A German Air Force Transall C-160D military transport aircraft will be on static display at the Air Tattoo.

The Luftwaffe operates around 80 of the aircraft, which have a maximum speed of 513km/h, a range of 1,853kms and a ceiling of 27,000ft.

The aircraft, which first flew in 1963, is due to be replaced by the A400M when it enters service.
