Royal Jordanian Falcons

The national aerobatic team of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Royal Jordanian Falcons were formed in 1976 at the behest of the late His Majesty King Hussein, a pilot and aviation enthusiast of great renown. Then they flew the Pitts Special - today the Falcons use a competition aerobatic aircraft of the modern generation, the German-designed Extra EA300L. The four-ship formation is made up of former Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter pilots. Based at King Hussein International Airport in the Red Sea resort of Aqaba, the team acts as a 'roving ambassador' for Jordan, and undertakes an extensive European tour every summer.

“It was an epic spectacle, as magical as anything you've ever seen in the West End, and as loud as anything you've ever heard at Knebworth.”

Jeremy Clarkson, Television Presenter

“All the thrills, excitement and noise of a Grand Prix, but in the air!”

Jenson Button, Formula 1 Racing Driver

“This is the best airshow!”

Buzz Aldrin, Apollo 11 Astronaut
