Disabled facilities Disabled Facilities

Disabled visitors arriving by car and displaying a disabled badge will be directed to the front of each public car park where possible. This is where a designated car parking space should be available – but it could be up to 300 metres from each pedestrian entry point. If you require assistance please ask a member of staff. It must be stressed that the public car parks are located on rough terrain which is unsuitable for wheelchairs.

It is strongly recommended that disabled visitors use our special Park & Ride facility at South Marston Business Park. A shuttle bus will run from the Park & Ride and will drop disabled visitors and their carers in the vicinity of the Invacare Mobility Bureau Disabled Enclosure on the airfield. Tickets must be booked in advance.

The Disabled Enclosure is for the use of registered disabled and must be booked in advance.  This Enclosure will be managed by a WRVS Support Team and will have crowd line access and accessible disabled toilets.

The Mobility Bureau will be located near to the Disabled Enclosure for the provision of motorised scooters and wheelchairs. These are available to registered disabled persons and must be booked in advance.

Information for 2009 bookings will be available nearer the time.
