WEDNESDAY 9 July

Wednesday signalled the opening of Park and View and despite the inclement weather, aviation enthusiasts came out in their numbers to watch the numerous aircraft arriving at RAF Fairford. The cameras flashed under umbrellas while hot drinks kept the spectators warm and comforted.

The rain did not stop progress on the build and news of improved weather towards the end of the week and weekend did much to brighten up the spirits of many wet volunteers tired after a long days hard work.
