Newsroom
The RAF in Concert 2007 has now drawn to a close and I'm delighted to say that we've received some very warm and positive feedback. Following last years tour, we spent some time looking through your comments and I believe that this year we put together a well-balanced and enjoyable programme by adding in a few more Marches, a longer Squadronaires segment and some old favourites.
Without your support and enthusiasm we would not be able to undertake the tour's and I hope that we will see you all again in 2008, when we will be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force which, i'm sure you agree, offers great scope for a truly memorable musical celebration. The 2008 dates are very nearly ready for publication, and we are hoping to add Newcastle to our list of venues. Confirmed tour dates will be available on the web site by the end of February, although most box offices will not open until April.
The financial result is certainly looking very good thanks to the increased audiences at each venue - which will in turn lead to a good financial result for the RAF Charitable Trust.
