Pre-war Prescott Supports Trust

Published: 14 Dec 2015   updated: 05 Jan 2016

For seven months of the year, fans of vintage vehicles can enjoy watching historic cars and bikes taking part in hill climbs at the famous course at Prescott, near Cheltenham. This year saw the venue celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain at the Pre-War Prescott event in July, complete with Hurricane fly-past. And we're delighted to say that, as the nominated charity of the Hill Climb, the RAF Charitable Trust received a donation of £400 raised at this event.

This year's Pre-War Prescott will take place on July 16, when the organisers will again be supporting the RAFCT as well as marking the 75th anniversary of the Air Training Corps.

“It was an epic spectacle, as magical as anything you've ever seen in the West End, and as loud as anything you've ever heard at Knebworth.”

Jeremy Clarkson, Television Presenter

“All the thrills, excitement and noise of a Grand Prix, but in the air!”

Jenson Button, Formula 1 Racing Driver

“This is the best airshow!”

Buzz Aldrin, Apollo 11 Astronaut
