Cosford Riders Saddle Up With Trust Grant
Published: 07 Oct 2015
Members of the RAF Cosford Saddle Club are cutting a dash in the equestrian world, sporting new branded t-shirts, tops and softshell jackets funded in part by a grant from the RAF Charitable Trust.
The team was awarded a grant of £550 for the kit which is now in use, promoting the station, the RAF Equestrian Association and the Charitable Trust via the branding.
Sgt Mark Kosack, Officer in Charge of the Club, said: "The kit, made up in the colours of the RAF Equestrian Association, and bearing the logos of the RAFCT, RAFEA and RAF Cosford, has made the team much more visible when attending official events. We had a lot of interest from other stations and teams when we attended the Festival of Equitation at RAF Cranwell last month (September).
He continued: "Having a uniform team kit has made us feel more like a team. It has increased our presence, along with that of the Charitable Trust and the RAF EA, with many people asking about the logos and about the club.
"Without the Trust grant this would not have been achievable and the whole team would like to pass on their thanks to the Trustees."
