Published: 05 May 2016   updated: 10 May 2016

RAF Waddington is getting up to speed for this year's RAFMSA Inter-Service Kart Championships after being awarded RAF Charitable Trust funding.

The team is hoping to increase their competitive edge now that they are able to invest the £3,266.40 grant in new karts and equipment.

The money from the RAFCT will also go towards driver training and equipment branding.

Further funding from the Nuffield Trust and Kart Club funds of £2178.05 will also allow for the development of sportsmen and women from grassroots through to higher levels of competition.
