Salary: £11 per hour

Contract date: 6th June to 22nd July 2022

Working hours:

Full-time - minimum 36.25 hours, typically 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, flexibility is essential with regard to working hours, and some weekend working will also be required from time to time to fulfil responsibilities. Applicants must be able to commit to working weekends 9th or 10th July and 16th and 17th July (RIAT Weekend) are essential.

The purpose of the Customer Services department is:        

  • To carry out the Company's Customer Service Strategy Plan by providing a 'first class' experience for our customers
  •  Effectively inform and promote the Royal International Air Tattoo, The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Company.


Your Main Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Support the capture and secure protection of customer information
  • Support all aspects of the ticket and merchandise sales processes
  • Carry out assigned duties associated with the Royal International Air Tattoo
  • Understand and support ticket sales, dispatch and refunds or returns through TMS
  • The first point of contact for customer complaints and enquiries
  • Packing up and mailing of enclosure and parking passes
  • Maintanence of office stationery supplies/orders
  • Managing of Facebook enquiries
  • Front desk cover to meet and greet customers or visitors - as well as take local residents orders

Your Showtime Responsibilites:

  • General ticket enquiries and management of local resident call line
  • Management of visitors to the head office requiring assistance

About You:

Essential education/experience, skills and qualities:


  • Previous customer service experience
  • IT literate in particular Microsoft Suite
  • Able to prioritise tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Numerate and literate with attention to detail
  • Relationship management
  • Organisation and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills via all methods including messenger apps, telephone and face to face
  • Have a proactive approach and be able to work on own initiative
  • Team player
  • Committed to excellence and customer service oriented
