What are we looking for?
We are looking for 6 x Ground Operations Site Team Assistants starting at different dates ending on 29th July. These roles will be responsible for supporting the Ground Operations Supervisor and Ground Operations Manager in the day-to-day delivery of the RIAT Showground Build/load-in, Load-out/Recovery phases.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out all Site related tasks allocated from Site Office
- Ensuring the safe build of the RIAT Showground as per CAD
- Carrying out manual handling tasks
- Driving of site vehicles and forklifts (if licenced)
- Ensuring all areas are built under CDM Regulations 2015
- Ensuring a safe "takedown" of site infrastructure
What we will offer
You will be paid £11 per hour for the hours worked at a minimum of 36.25 hours per week. This is accompanied by pension (if eligible) and a focus on staff wellbeing and social events throughout the year.
You will also be given two complimentary tickets to The Royal International Air Tattoo and a staff discount of 50% for an additional six.
Having a forklift driving licence will instantly give you an advantage however if you have experience as a labourer or a similar construction-based role, are committed to excellence with strong ability to prioritise tasks we encourage you to apply for this role.
