The Van's RV-12 is a popular American two seat light aircraft. The aircraft achieved its first flight in 2006 and to date over 767 examples have been built. The RV-12 is available either as a complete aircraft or as a kit for home building. The design features wings which are removeable to allow for the aircraft to easily stored or transported or built in a garage. Van's also designed the RV-12 so that it could be assembled by a single person utilising blind rivets. 

A single Van's RV-12 will be will be appearing on static at RIAT 2023 and is owned by the Southampton University Aviation Society.
