LITHUANIAN LET-410

The L-410 Turbolet, built by Czechoslovak manufacturer Let first flew in 1969. It is a twin-turboprop light transport and the majority of the 1,100 examples produced were sold to Eastern Bloc and other communist countries during the Soviet era. The L-410 remains a rugged and popular machine and the Aircraft Industries firm, successor to Let, continues to build new L-410s in its factory in Kunovice, Czech Republic where it also offfers upgrades. The Lithuanian Air Force fly a pair of L-410s as transport and training aircraft.
