Breitling Wingwalkers

Four Boeing Stearman biplanes, otherwise known as the Model 75 or Kaydet, provide the mounts for the Breitling Wingwalkers. Designed in the 1930s, this distinctive aircraft became one of the most important primary trainers for the US military - and pilots of other Allied air arms - during the Second World War. In starting his wingwalking team over a quarter of a century ago, founder Vic Norman sought to rekindle some of the spirit of the inter-war 'barnstormers', and the Stearman was an ideal aircraft. The team is based at Rendcomb, a former Royal Flying Corps airfield near Cirencester.
