Royal Norwegian Air Force F-16

Forming part of the Royal International Air Tattoo 2014's static line-up in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the F-16 Fighting Falcon will be two examples from the Royal Norwegian Air Force. They are being sent by the RNoAF's NATO Tiger squadron, 338 Skvadron at Ørland. Norway was one of the original European Participating Air Forces who signed up for the F-16 as an F-104 Starfighter replacement. First deliveries were in 1980. Today it has three squadrons of Fighting Falcons, two at Bodø and one at Ørland. All have been through the MLU (Mid-Life Upgrade) programme.
