The Extra E-400 is a six-seat single-engined monoplane, produced by Extra Flugzeugbau, which first flew in 1996. The aircraft has a top speed of 387km/h, a range of 3,889km and a ceiling of 25,000ft.
The company, started by Walter Extra, manufactures predominantly aerobatic display aircraft - the Extra EA-300 series, and visitors will be able to see the extraordinary capabilities of this variant in the skies when the Royal Jordanian Falcons perform in the Air Tattoo's flying display.
