The Patrouille Suisse formed in 1964 and is the national aerobatics team of Switzerland. Sleek and graceful, the six F-5E Tiger IIs create a dynamic display - and an eye-catching one - thanks to the aircraft's bright colour schemes incorporating the red and white of the Swiss national flag. The pilots are all volunteers from various frontline squadrons are well known worldwide for performing precise formations at high speed. The Air Tattoo is delighted that the team will be returning to RAF Fairford in their 53rd display season. The team first visited the Air Tattoo in 1979 with the Hawker Hunter F58.
