The RAF Charitable Trust Enterprises organise a host of aviation related events including the Royal International Air Tattoo that attracts 185,000 visitors for a weekend of spectacular aviation action every year. Our commercial activities enable us to gift our profits to The RAF Charitable Trust in order to foster and encourage an interest in aviation amongst young people and to inspire the next generation of aerospace professionals - whether engineers, pilots or ground crew.
A great opportunity has arisen for a talented and professional administrator to join our friendly and highly-regarded Guest Relations team as we prepare for the 2019 Royal International Air Tattoo.
You'll need strong interpersonal skills as you'll be managing our RSVP communications, liaising with various teams across our company and assisting with day to day requests both verbally and in writing.

·Maintaining and updating our Guest Relations Database
·Providing general office administration support for the Corporate & Guest Relations team
·Organising VIP visits (managing coach/taxi transfer, external catering, meeting room management, passes, tickets)
·Managing issues diplomatically as they arise; escalating concerns to ensure speedy resolution
·Communicating with our volunteers; ensuring information is kept up to date and queries are addressed
·Diary management for the Team, addressing conflicts as they arise
·Ensuring the database is up to date and accurate at all times
·Helping to prepare content for communications and materials (team briefs, reports, announcements)
·Strong written, verbal and presentation skills,
·Diplomacy skills, with an ability to ensure confidentiality at all times
·Excellent administrative and IT skills with advanced Microsoft Office and database management skills
·Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
·An ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to agreed timescales and deadlines
·Strong numeracy skills
·An ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure
·The ability to work on your own initiative
·A flexible approach and a desire to go above and beyond
·Event management experience is preferable but not essential
·Previous experience in a VIP/formal/protocol environment
