Red Arrows Meet & Greet 2019
- Friday - 1630 - 1730
- Saturday - 0920 - 1020
- Sunday - 1000-1100
The Red Arrows pilots will be in the RAF Experience area during these times, spread out in front of the ground adjacent to the team's red and white marquees. Visitors will be able to mingle around the aircrew in this zone and there will be no formal line-up of the pilots, or standard queues to meet all-of-them in one go. RIAT requests people are patient and show respect to those around them. This set-up will revert to a queuing system if bad weather forces the pilots inside the tent to carry out the meet-and-greet. Times and availability are subject to change.
- "A true credit to the RAF, very informative and engaging."
- "Every part of it was excellent. All the personnel on duty were fun, approachable, helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and I would have thought this would all have been an excellent recruiting tool."
- "The RAF crews on duty were great and their interaction with the public was exceptional. I witnessed a group of Help the Heroes supporters ask a pilot what he flew and if they could have a photograph with him. Both he and his co-pilot then promptly said "Come with us" and they walked a long way back to their Tornado, took them under the barrier and grouped them all together for a great few shots with them all and the aircraft. Sheer class."
