2017 Show Artwork Launched

Published: 03 Feb 2017

We are delighted to launch the 2017 Air Tattoo show artwork and welcome back artist Wiek Luijken. Wiek was commissioned to produce the 2016 Air Tattoo artwork and has been creating aviation art for big print, calendars, book and model box covers, game illustrations and magazine articles for over two decades. He works full-time as an Art Director in the games industry and uses aviation art as a creative outlet in his spare time.

This year's artwork depicts F-16s of the United States Air Force (USAF) Thunderbirds,  emphasising this year's celebration of 70 years of the USAF along with our theme for 2017, 21st Century Partnerships. The artwork will be put to use around the country so look out for Wiek's work on busses, motorways, billboards and on our official merchandise.

You can also request your 2017 Air Tattoo car sticker HERE. We will be sending them out in around a month, but  unfortunately cannot accept requests from outside the UK. If you are going to be attending Abingdon or Cosford airshows please don't request online as you can pick them up in person.

Download as an A4 poster or a Facebook/Twitter cover photo HERE.
If you still haven't bought your tickets you can do so HERE.
