Rememberance Sunday Wreaths Laid

Wreaths were laid at two war memorials on Remembrance Sunday, on behalf of everyone connected with the RAF Charitable Trust and Enterprises. 

RIAT Ops Director Stu Lindsell, laid a wreath in Kempsford whilst, in Fairford, David McKinley, husband of HR & Volunteer Engagement Director Kate. 

Enterprises also helped raise money on behalf of the Royal British Legion (RBL) Poppy Appeal by making poppies available from the Douglas Bader House reception.  

Local Poppy Appeal organiser Sqn Ldr Alvin Hill (Ret'd) said collections in local communities around RAF Fairford helped raise a total of £2,042.45 for the RBL. 

He said: "Thank you so much for your tremendous support."
