A Colombian Air Force C-130H will be making the long trip from its base at Bogota to take part in this summer's Air Tattoo - the first aircraft from this South American country to touch down at a UK air show.
The aircraft, from the Escuadrón de Transporte 811, is based at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota. The airport is home to the Comando Aereo de Transporte Militar (CATAM).
The Colombian Air Force operates eight Hercules, a mix of C-130B and C-130H models, using them to transport personnel and cargo. The aircraft also perform humanitarian missions and medical evacuations (MEDEVAC).
Last month (February) Marshall Aerospace, part of the Marshall Group, an Air Tattoo sponsor, won a contract to help maintain the Colombian Air Force's fleet of C-130 aircraft.
