A JAS-39C/D Gripen from Kecskemet Air Base in Hungary will be on static display at the Air Tattoo.
The SAAB JAS 39 Gripen (English: Griffin) is a lightweight single-engine multirole fighter manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. It was designed to replace the SAAB 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force. The Gripen features delta wings and canards, as well as relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology.
As well as this static example from Hungary, Air Tattoo visitors will be able to view the aircraft's capabilities when a Swedish Air Force SAAB Gripen JAS-39C performs in the flying display.
