Widely recognised as the UK's premier military parachute display team, the RAF Falcons will perform their unique and colourful display as part of this summer's Air Tattoo.
The team, which is renowned for its famous 11-person, non-contact, canopy stack display routine, is based at RAF Brize Norton. They traditionally jump from a C-130K Hercules, however at the Air Tattoo they will be jumping from a Cessna Caravan.
Team Leader Warrant Officer Andy Dearlove said: " Following a fantastic 50th Anniversary season in 2011, the team has been working hard over the winter to train new members to the high standard required to display for the public.
"Selected from the professional Parachute Jumping Instructors of RAF Brize Norton's Airborne Delivery Wing, team members also support military operations by training UK Armed Forces in specialist parachute insertion techniques."
He added: "The RAF Falcons are excited and honoured to be included on the programme at our closest event, the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford."
