A warm welcome awaits display pilot Capt Stefan 'Stitch' Hutten and the Dutch F-16 Demo Team at this summer's Air Tattoo. Currently based at Volkel Airbase, the team of 10 works together to demonstrate the limits of both the F-16 and its pilot.
The flamboyant display and colourful aircraft always prove popular with the Air Tattoo audience, offering a range of spectacular photo opportunities.
In the words of the display team: "What makes the show special is that all of the manoeuvres are smoothly choreographed together and are performed at very low altitude. During the performance, the demo pilot's body is exposed to enormous positive and negative G forces. Although Captain Hutten is put under these enormous stresses, it is his goal to give an accurate illustration of the F-16's outstanding manoeuvrability and skill set that every Royal Netherlands Air Force F-16 fighter pilot must master."
We look forward to enjoying 'Stitch's' first season displaying the F-16.
