The Global 6000 is an ultra-long range business jet, falling into the large cabin category. The aircraft can carry upto 13 passengers in its civilian configuration, with a maximum range of 6,000 miles when carrying 8 passengers.
The aircraft has also found use in air forces, predominantly as a VIP transport but also in the airborne early warning (AEW) and intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) roles. The RAF operates a fleet of five Sentinel R1 aircraft, modified by Raytheon, similar in appearance to the example attending RIAT 2017. This example, offered by Bombardier, has been undergoing modification by Marshalls of Cambridge.
