What we do
We have made over £7million in grants since launching in 2005, but now our ambition is to go further and reach 500,000 young people by 2026, and hen 500,000 a year from then on.
To do this, we commission and support a range of projects that give young people a meaningful experience of STEM, as well as supporting scholarships and opportunities to inspire them with careers in tech, engineering and aviation.
We’re helping young people gain their Light Aircraft Pilot Licences (LAPL). The best performers receive further training through our Top-Up Scheme. Last year we provided funding for 180 Junior Ranks Pilot Scholarships.
