Piper PA-31 Navajo

The Piper PA31 Navajo is a twin-engined aircraft made for small airlines and for use as a corporate transport. First flying in 1964, almost 4,000 had been produced when production ended in 1984. The Navajo has bene used by a variety of nations as part of their military. Later versions of the Navajo included a pressurised cockpit and more powerful engines increasing their range and service ceiling.

2Excel and Leonardo will be providing their Navajo test bed for static display at this year's Air Tattoo. The aircraft has recently been used as a test bed the new generation of radars being developed for the Eurofighter Typhoon.
