Who is eligible to apply for grants?
RAF groups and associations, and non-profit educational/youth organisations focussing on STEM or aviation-related projects are warmly welcomed to apply for grants which meet the Trust's mandate.
From flying scholarships to remote control aircraft kits, RAF crew room enhancements and sports kit, the Trust is here to offer support and encouragement to people of all ages working in the interests of the RAF family.

"In funding the Junior Ranks' Pilot Scholarship Scheme (JRPSS) scholarships and boosting RAFFCA's training capability, the Trust is doing a fantastic job of encouraging people into aviation. That's what we're doing. Let's get people flying." Mr Richard Dawe, JRPSS administrator
"Last year, eight bursaries were awarded so it's fantastic to gain the funding to almost double the amount for this coming season and we're grateful for the Trust's support to enable this. The scheme is a great way to introduce new entrants to the Service or those in junior ranks at RAF Cosford into becoming more airminded, whilst also developing personal skills such as confidence, team work and initiative. We look forward to fostering new gliding talent." Flight Lieutenant, Alastair Cooper - ACM Sir John Cheshire Gliding Scholarships
"Since being deployed, 617 Squadron has had little opportunity to play sports due to the lack of funding available on a Marine Corps Air Station. With generous funding from the RAFCT we've been able to put together a team and purchase a full kit to compete in the Beaufort County Soccer League. In a short space of time, football training has become immensely popular among personnel of all ranks and has boosted morale after long work hours. As we spend a lot of time away from family in the UK, this team has helped forge great new relationships." Senior Aircraftman Technician Matthew Gardner
