Job Title: Aircrew Enclosure - Crew Club Host

The Crew Club Team are there to ensure all visiting aircrew and groundcrew have a first-class experience whilst at the Royal International Air Tattoo and to provide a personal connection with them.
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, confident people who will enjoy engaging with crew from around the world. Ideally you will have customer services/front of house experience. This role is to ensure that crew have a welcoming, relaxed, clean area to spend their time when they are not at their aircraft.
You are responsible to and supported by the Aircrew Logistics Manager and the Crew Club Manager. You should be willing to involve yourself and be able to work as a team with other volunteers.
- Meet and greet crews, welcoming them to the show ·
- Give crew information and directions to important/interesting locations/activities
- Interact with crews at all opportunities, for example offering to take group photos
- Working behind the Crew Club bar to serve drinks.
- Assisting crews with enquiries and activities as and when needed
- Assist with photo/patch/sticker board and encourage crews to get involved
- Have knowledge of what's on the RIAT showground
- Know what time key activities are (flying displays, competitions, social events, briefings)
- Know what to do in the event of an emergency
- Ensuring only authorised aircrew and ground crew are using the facility
- To carry out any task that may be required
- Report any issues to Crew Club Manager
- Assist Crew Club Manager and Aircrew Logistics Manager with any ad hoc tasks
- Arrival at Fairford on Tuesday (for Facility Set-Up and Team Briefing)
- Working Wednesday to Monday
- Departure from Fairford on Monday evening or Tuesday morning
- Local accommodation/camping for the period that you are volunteering·
- Three meals a day in one of our onsite diners·
- Two complimentary tickets for the Air Tattoo.
