The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is held annually in Fairford, Gloucestershire. The next Airshow will be held on 14-16 July 2017.

The airshow is mainly staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers (now circa 2,500) from all over the world who come together in July to be a part of the world's biggest airshow. Through their tremendous efforts, the Air Tattoo is now recognised as the world's largest and most significant event in the airshow calendar.

Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the show, from greeting UK and international military aircrew on arrival to helping the general public with queries.

Volunteers work closely together forging friendships that can be regenerated as experienced volunteers come back year after year, whilst new friendships are made with first-time volunteers joining the Air Tattoo Team.

We are currently creating a new online application process for 2017 so please keep checking this page for updates.
