Dutch Treat for Air Tattoo

Always a stalwart supporter of the Royal International Air Tattoo, the Royal Netherlands Air Force has confirmed a number of aircraft as taking part in our 2015 event at RAF Fairford this July.
Spearheading its contribution will be the Apache Demo Team, provided by the Dutch Helicopter Command, flying a spectacular aerobatic sequence with an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter from 301 'Redskins' Squadron, based at Gilze-Rijen. This menacing display, rarely seen in Britain, shows off the agility of the AH-64D in impressive fashion, illustrating the flexibility and manoeuvrability that render the Apache a highly effective battlefield weapon.
Another Dutch helicopter, also provided by the Dutch Helicopter Command, a CH-47 Chinook transport, will form part of the Royal Netherlands Air Force presence in the Air Tattoo 2015 static park. Also on hand will be a Dornier Do-228, operated on behalf of the Dutch Coastguard, a C-130 Hercules tactical airlifter and a KDC-10 tanker/transport. The latter two aircraft are set to provide a welcome boost to the range of heavy aircraft attending this year's Air Tattoo.
