Royal Danish Air Force CL-604 Challenger

The CL-604 Challenger is a multi-mission, militarised version of the Bombardier Challenger 600 series of business jets. Performing maritime patrol and search & rescue missions, the aircraft is capable of landing on the short, rough gravel airstrips common in the Arctic. The aircraft type also supported the Red Arrows' Atlantic crossing at the start and end of their 2019 North American tour.

The Challenger fleet is part of the Air Transport Wing of the Royal Danish Air Force based at Alborg.
