Beech 18S - Civilian

Carlo Ferrari's Beech 18 is a remarkable example of this twin-engine 'taildragger'. First flown in 1937, the type saw extensive service during World War Two as a trainer and light transport (amongst other duties). After the war, the Beech 18 was a well-known business aircraft, perhaps the King Air of its day. Carlo's G18S, which has made appearances on television and in movies, will be displayed in the static park in the military paint scheme it wore for the TV series 'Catch 22'.
